Hart Heritage Days Festival
Demonstrations, old-time music, food booths, displays, chicken dinner or pig roast. Displays and exhibits include wild life, animated dolls, fish marine, Indian artifacts, dairy, antique farm equipment piano collection, logging collection, feed mill, fire station, 1884 pipe organ, Randall School, Sackrider Church and more. Various activities in downtown Hart.

26th Annual Hart Pow Wow: Honoring Our Elders
10am-6pm each day. Activities include a traditional pow wow with intertribal dancing, Native singing, storytelling, arts and crafts, food and more. Bring lawn chairs for the Grand Entry and intertribal dancing Saturday at 1pm and 6pm and Sunday at 1pm. Free admission. Oceana County Fairgrounds, Hart.

Skippers meeting 11am, race start 1:30pm. Sailboat race around the buoys on Lake Michigan off the Ludington harbor.Open to all sailors and will feature spinnaker and main & jib divisions. Post-race dinner and awards ceremony with live music at 6pm. Trophies awarded to the top three finishers in each division. Entry fee $25. Weather backup day September 9.
