Hamlin Lake, just four miles north of Ludington, draws visitors from far and near to its many campgrounds. Lakeview Campsite is a family-owned campground along the southern shore of beautiful Upper Hamlin Lake, with scenic sites in a natural, but modern setting. The Ludington State Park has three wonderful campgrounds, one of them has campsites overlooking Hamlin Lake. Thanks to a variety of hiking trails with breath-taking views, the Ludington State Park is known as the "Queen of State Parks" and the campsites fill very quickly, so make your reservation early. Hamlin Grocery has the corner on propane and RV refills! We are guaranteed open 10am-2pm daily in the winter, 10am-6pm daily in the summer, refilling tank sizes from 20-100 pounds. Conveniently located on the corner of Jebavy Drive and Dewey Road, on the way to Upper Hamlin Lake and the Lake Michigan Nordhouse Dunes in the Manistee National Forest.
