It's a very relaxing and "homey" place to be. |

On the grounds of the cottages we have:
- An L-shaped pier that helps protect the swimming area from
the bigger waves, when mothers are enjoying the water with their
small children
- Numerous tables and chairs, gliders and a fire pit
- A permanent screened in house where you can play cards or
checkers or just relax
- A fish cleaning area with hot and cold running water for
cleaning
those big fish

There's a lot do do here. Fishing is just one
option.

To the right is a picture of the kitchen in our lake cottage
with all the comforts of home; coffee pot and coffee grinder,
microwave, and more. Cottages include:
- TV
- Two bedrooms with full-size beds
- Hide-a-bed in the living room
- All linens
- Pots and pans

top 10 places to be in the whole world. What more could you ask
for? Every time you watch the sunset here it will always be good
and it will never be the same as the night before.

Directions:
Take US-10 through downtown Ludington until
you can see the lighthouse and Lake Michigan beach. Turn right
(north) on Lakeshore Dr. Go past the golf course and you will
come to a party store and ice cream store. Turn right and continue
along Lakeshore Drive and you will come to a Y at the South Bayou
Bridge. Stay left along Hamlin Lake, travel about 1/2 block and
you are here. There is a sign on both sides of the street. Welcome
to the Last "Homely House"!

We also have a one-bedroom house available
for rent by the week year round. $475/week during the summer,
$375/week off-season.

House" east of the inland sea. That house was as Bilbo had
long ago reported, "a perfect house, whether you like food
or sleep or story telling or singing, or just sitting and thinking
best, or a pleasant mixture of them all." Merely to be there
