At Lakeview Campsite you can take walks or bicycle around the campground, enjoy our picnic areas or sit by the Lake and watch the spectacular sunset over beautiful Hamlin Lake. The children will enjoy our swimming pool and several different playground areas. If you enjoy hiking, Victory Park, the Manistee National Forest, or the Ludington State Park have miles of trails awaiting you. There is a Hamlin Lake beach area located at the Ludington State Park. Lake Michigan Beach areas are located at the Manistee National Forest and at the Ludington State Park for your enjoyment. For those of you that have pets, there is a pet beach located at the Manistee National Forest. There is truly something for everyone.

Do not transport firewood into the campground from any state, county or local areas, which includes any firewood being sold locally, due to the Emerald Ash Borer. The Michigan Department of Agriculture, the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Michigan Department of Natural Resources are all working together to try and stop the spread of this insect and the destruction of Michigan's Ash trees.You are allowed to bring pallet wood or processed wood. One of the items for sale at the campground convenience store is firewood. So you can still sit around the campfire, roast marshmallows, tell stories, and enjoy your families.

Directions:

From the east: Take US-10 to Stiles Rd (approx 2 miles west of Scottville). Go north on Stiles approx 6 miles to Fountain Rd. Go west on Fountain 3 miles to Peterson Rd, then one mile north to Lakeview Campsite.

From the north: Take US-31 to Fountain Rd. Go 4 miles west on Fountain to Peterson Rd, then one mile north to Lakeview Campsite.

From the south: Take US-31 to US-10. Go west on US-10 to Jebavy Dr. Take Jebavy north approx 5 miles to Angling Rd, then approx 4 miles to Peterson Rd, then one mile north to Lakeview Campsite.
